EVENTLIN

Bringing clarity to hospitality bookings

Starting point

The first version of the dashboard, built entirely by developers, felt more like a spreadsheet than a tool for hospitality teams. My task was to bring clarity, trust, and visual harmony to the product & the brand.

Outcome

The redesign turned Eventlin from a MVP into a confident, cohesive product. Workflows became faster, errors dropped, and the product finally felt trustworthy in the hands of hospitality teams. The new design system unified every screen, while the redesigned website aligned the product and brand under one clear story. Together, these changes set a strong foundation for future growth — visually, structurally, and strategically.

Problem

The cracks started to show in daily use

Dark mode suffered from low contrast, and key actions weren’t easy to spot.

Restaurant managers and hosts used it daily, yet struggled with poor accesibility, and confusing data views.

The website also needed a fresh story - one that clearly presents the product and its value in a single, cohesive experience.

Core issues I identified:

1

Product had poor hierarchy, low contrast, and offered little clarity on what truly mattered to users.

2

Mobile experience was even harder to navigate - critical for staff constantly on the move.

3

Marketing site failed to communicate the product’s value or show how the platform actually worked.

Approach

Bring order through systems

I analyzed every component, every spacing inconsistency, every color mismatch, and redefined the visual logic behind the product.

By rebuilding the foundation: grids, typography, and hierarchy - the interface naturally became clearer, more scalable, and easier to trust.

How I Solved It

Designing for everyday use

01

Reservation Book

Simplified layouts, improved contrast, and clarified action flows to make daily use more intuitive.

02

Reporting Dashboard

Built the Reporting Dashboard from scratch, defining which metrics matter most for restaurant owners and managers.

03

Mobile

Reworked the mobile experience, making it cleaner and easier for hosts and staff to manage bookings on the go.

04

Design system

Created a full design system for both light and dark themes, setting a scalable foundation for future product growth.

05

Website

Designed and developed a new marketing website in Framer, rewriting the information architecture and copy to tell a clear story of the product.

06

Brand

Systematized the brand, consolidating all previous assets and guidelines into a single, cohesive brand book.

Outcomes

The redesign improved usability, consistency, and perception

The design system now drives all new features, the website aligns the product story, and the overall experience feels reliable and modern.

This work laid the foundation for scalability — enabling faster workflows, fewer mistakes, and a stronger sense of trust in the brand.
